Make a Torch for light and clearing webs

Choose one of the two recipes

Both recipes are in hand crafting:

• 2 Sticks → Torch
• 2 Bones → Torch

These are alternatives. You do not need to combine Sticks and Bones for one Torch. Use whichever pair you can spare before the next expedition.

Use it on the prison-approach webs

If you have the Prison Key but cannot reach the door because of webs, equip the Torch and hit the web obstruction. Then try the Prison Door with the key.

The web-covered passage shown here is the sort of blocker to identify. The Torch solution was confirmed by the questioner in the June demo discussion. Metal bars need the Hammer instead.

Put it away to catch Rats

Before approaching a Rat, put the Torch away, crouch and move slowly. Switch back to your light when the capture is finished and you are ready to travel.
