Budget a new Workbench

IngredientAmount
Wood Plank3
Iron Rod2
Leather1

Use hand crafting to build the station. Keep this construction cost separate from the ingredients of the item you intend to make at it.

If Leather is limited, use the existing bench for your first project before deciding whether to spend a piece on your own station.

Use the correct station for the recipe

  • Leather: 2 Animal Hide → 1 Leather, after picking up Leather to unlock it.
  • Pouch: 2 Leather and 2 Vines → the three-slot upgrade.
  • Grappling Hook: 1 Hook and 1 Rope → the finished traversal tool.

By contrast, Rope and Torch belong to hand crafting. If you cannot find a recipe, check both the station and the materials you have discovered.

Read inputs and output before crafting

The Workbench screen shows the selected recipe's ingredients and its result. In this example, Stick + Rock → Arrow ×5 demonstrates how to read that input-and-output panel.

Use the same check for your chosen item: confirm the selected output, the material counts and the station before spending resources. Continue to camp crafting for the wider material-to-recipe routine.
